Just A Pot Of Oil !.

The widow of a godly man
Sons of the prophet he was
Faced with a situation
Far beyond her ability.

When the creditor called
To Elisha she quickly ran
Desperately she cried for help
Her children,she can't forfeit.

What do you have ,Elisha asked?
For God is never limited
He can use whatever He wills
To execute His perfect will.

Just a pot of oil she cried!
Just a pot of oil she had
For God to turn the tide
And break the hold of poverty.

To me His word proceeds
There's still "a pot" in my life
Locating it is still the task
For with it ;God'll turn the tide.

Make A Difference (IV).

Many many years ago
Upon the walls of Jericho
Dwell Rahab an harlot
Plying her ignoble trade.

Despite her background
Despite her profession
She chose to make a difference
And a difference she made.

Her little act of kindness
Preserved not just two
But her entire household
And generations yet unborn.

Rahab's story didn't end
With just that good deed
But the Messiah of the world
Choose to come through her line.

What God is looking for
Are for men and women
Who'll cast-off all restraint
And make a difference in their age.

Creation Is Waiting.


For the sons of God
The whole creation is waiting

the eyes of all creatures
Are on you to loose their chains.

Make a Difference(2).

Like Moses the man of God

Who arose when Israel sinned

He chose not to criticize

But pleaded for mercy from God.

Many can see the problems

Many can identify the wrongs

But the harder thing to do

Is to find the solution.

Many can see the hopelessness

But the need of the hour

Is for men who can see

Rivers in the desert.

Choose to be a Moses

An instrument of change

A blessing ,not a curse

Men Heaven listens to.

Men of Moses' mold

The mighty intercessor of Israel
Men wholly purged of self
Driven by God's love alone.

Men like Daniel of old
Who identified fully with their race
Always knocking on Heavens door
Till mercy is poured from above.

God is still looking today
For men He can depend on
To turn the tide against His foes
Men who'll stand in the gap.

Will you be numbered with the few
Who'll make a difference today
Bearing the burden of the weary
Receiving hope for the hopeless ones.

"Strength for the labor"
God will surely provide
And all human needs
He'll graciously supply.

If we'll only arise
And call on Him our Source
To help both young and old
We can't help on our own.

Vessels Unto Honour.

Fit for the Master's use

Purged from self and sin

Vessels unto honour they are

Blessings unto sons of men.

Filled with Holy Spirit

Empowered to do His will

Led by Him alone

Instruments of God divine.

The choice is ours today

To be numbered among the few

Purified from self and sin

Sons of God in word and deed.

It's a priviledge to be called

Like the men in Gideon's day

From among the countless throng

Of the seed of Abraham.

What a greater priviledge

To be chosen by the Lord

To carry out the desires

But the greatest priviledge

Is to be faithful to the Lord

For only the faithful ones

Will reign with Him at the end.

Diamond are found;deep beneath the ground

By His Spirit Alone.

God's power and not human might

Can cause a soul to yield to Christ

When Hisruth to men we speak

For no human wisdom or skill

But His power that'll change a life.

We Have Toiled All Night!

Peter and his companions

On the lake of Gennesaret

Toiled all night in the cold

Just to take care of their home.

All their experiences failed

Their sleeplessness yielded no fruit

After many hours of labour

They finally resolved to quit.

But Jesus came on the scene

The Maker of Heaven and Earth

Just a word from the Lord

And their sorrow turned to joy.

If you'll only allow the Lord

To take charge in your life

All things will begin to work

Together for your very good.

When All Else Have Failed.

The woman with the issue of blood

Spent all her living on drugs

Just to get permanent cure

From her shameful state of health.

To different physicians she ran

All her resources she spent

Nothing to show for all her stress

Back to square one she returned.

But she heard about the Son of God

And desperately she sought for help

From her grievous condition

For He alone her last hope on Earth.

The very power of God she touched

And her ailment vanished away

She was made totally whole

For she has met the Source of life.

If you'll only seek His face today

With total resignation and trust

That He alone is your only hope

Just like her you'll smile again.

Can God Count On You ?

In the days of old

When God searched for a man

To stand in the gap for Sodom

In Abraham He found a man.

In the days of Isaiah

When Heaven's clarion call rang

Throughout the Universe

In Isaiah God found a man.

In the days of Eli

When words from God were scarce

God found a man in Samuel

Despite his age and inexperience.

If you'll separate yourself

From things of dishonour

God will surely find in you

A vessel for His glorious cause.

The Missing Link.

Valleys of dry bones

Problems abound on Earth

Beyond all human ability

Hopelessness reigns supreme.

Tere is a God in Heaven

Who gives life to the dead

His power is unlimited

His abilitycan't be quantified.

But a link is missing

To conduct divine currents

To turn human tragedies

To siongs of rejoicing.

God is is still searching

For men who are ready

To consecrate their all

For Him to change the world

To you Jehovah is calling

Won't you hearken to Him

Won't you obey His call

And regret will ever know.

Just Like Moses.

The people sinned and judgement came

Fiery serpents from the Lord

Consumed their host,not a few

The consequence of sin can't be ignored.

Moses the meek and faithful one

Promptly called on God above

Abrasen serpent he was told to make

Look and live,the cure for all.

Many rejected God's command

Look and live isn't their choice

Other ways they'll choose to take

But destruction will be thier lot.

Like it was in days of yore

All men've been bitten again

Thru Adam and Eve in Eden of old

Eternal death the outcome of sin.

The Father God with love again

Made a cure for all our race

Jesus crucified on the cross

Believe in Him and you will live.

Jesus alone can save a soul

From the destroying grip of sin and hell

RejectingGod's only way to life

Will only bring eternal night.

All the Lord require today

From the sons of men of every race

Is nothing more than days of yore

Believe in Jesus and you'll live.

Don't Give Up.

Don't give up

Thebattle'll soon be over

Your victory is assured

For the Lord is on your side.

Hold on a little more

Your salvation is nigh

Just a little more push

And you'll enter into His rest.

The Lord is a rewarder

Of every diligent seeker

But He won't be happy

If you quit before the end

To the persistent ones

Though faintstill pursuing

To them the Lord will come

With blessings unknown to men.

When Jesus Came.

Lazarus of Bethany

Buried three days already

Totally beyond earthly help

Written off by friends and foes.

But Jesus came on the scene

Dead Lazarus was brought to life

Hopelessness gave way to hope

For the Ressurection and life has come.

Whatever a man may face

On this terrestrial plain of ours

If only Jesus is in charge

Total restoration will be our lot.

God Sees Your Heart.

In the days of old
When king Saul missed the way
A replacement was sought by God
For the peculiar Israel's throne.

Down the plains of Bethlehem
Went Samuel the man of God
To the household of Jesse
To anoint the future king.

Among Jesse's sons paraded
Before the prophet sent by God
None was found to have a heart
Befitting the glorious task.

Then the youngest son was brought
From the bush,tending the flock
Finally the Most High has found
A man with a perfect heart.

Appearances may deceive
But God cannot receive
Anything lesser than this
A heart perfect towards Him.

Won't you value what He values
For His eyes still searches on
To show Himself mighty
On behalf of the perfect hearted.

A heart wholly purged from self
Childlike in every sense
Purged from every sin
Like God's Son's in every realm.

If Men Will Pray.

Peter was kept in prison
Bound securely with iron chains
Guarded by Roman soldiers
Awaiting the morn for death.

Peacefully he slept
Not afraid of sudden death
His life in God's hand is kept
And in Him he rests assured.

But the Church of Jesus Christ
United knocked on Heaven's door
That Peter mustn't die like James
His destiny he must fulfill.

Unceasingly they called on God
And an angel God released
To loose Peter from his chains
That God's will he may fulfill.

No situation is beyond prayer
No case's beyond God's power
Angels He'll gladly send
To execute His will on Earth again.

Standing In The Gap

In the middle of the night
when all activity have ceased
When the stars brightly shine
And the moon reigns supreme.

A man arose from his couch
To welcome a long time friend
From a land so far away
Weary and hungry in need of rest.

Alas!there is no food at home
To his rich neighbour he quickly ran
No inconvenience is too much to bear
For the visitor's plight is far much more.

But the rich neighbour is fast asleep
With his household in their beds
Nothing like lack or want their lot
Manifold blessings is theirs for real.

The unending knock awoke the man
His cry,you're my only hope rang in the night
Please come to my aid!, he cried
If you fail,what will I do?!.

His persistence moved his friend
Who arose to meet his needs
How much more'll God arise
Because of saints who fail to quit.

Let's call on God today
To receive grace from our King
To meet the needs of young and old
Who we can't help on our own.

A Friend In Deed.

A true friend who can find
That sticks closer than a brother
A friend through thick and thin
Always faithful,day and night.

Jesus is the true friend
He laid down His precious life
For men of every tribe and tongue
That God's grace men may know.

To continually enjoy His love
Perfect obedience He demands
As we daily do His will
His Presence will still abide.

Come Unto Me.

Come unto me
Rings the Master's voice
To the weak and heavy laden
His rest He offers all.

With a heart full of love
Compassionately He calls
There is hope in His voice
For all who'll heed His call.

Deliverance He assures
From the ravages of sin
Abundant mercy He offers
To all who will come.

Come He is calling
Now is the time.
Hearken to His call
For He feels all your pains.

The weight of sin is great
Crushing men beneath its weight
The Saviour is still calling
Come deliverance is sure.

All who heed His call
Never regret a moment more
But to all who fail to come
Eternally they'll have to mourn.

Make A Difference.

Saul of Tarsus,fiery Jew

Redeemed by the grace of God

Yet suspected by the saints

Because of his inglorious past.

But Barnabbas a disciple

Dared to make the difference

What the others feared to do

He chose to help the lonely one.

His deed preserved an apostle

Exceptional in every realm

Oh,what a jewel nearly lost

If not for what Barnabbas did.

Whoever you are today

You can still effect a change

Your little act of kindness

God may use to raise another Paul.

He knows.

By the pool of Bethesda

Lay multitudes of sick folks

All beyond human redemption

Divine visitation alone their hope.

But it's only the fastest one

Who fits into divine design

Thirty -eight years of waiting

Doesn't guarantee deliverance.

A captive of the evil one

Solitary and none to help

Condemned for years upon his couch

All hope of being healed was gone.

But Jesus showed up on the scene

And He knows about your pains

Regardless of all you have borne

His grace is all you need.

Just a word from God alone

Will break the hold of sin and death

And your sorrow'll turn to joy

If on Him,you'll call today.

Lord remember me

The thief on the cross

Crucified with the Lamb of God

Desired noting more or less

Than remembrance by the Lord.

Lord! remember me

Goes his humble cry

For he knew he was guilty

But for mercy alone he plead.

Jesus the faithful One

Full of mercy and grace

Compassionately He answered him

In paradise tonight you'll be.

What a gerat assurance

And hope for all today

That our trust and call for mercy

The good Lord will not deny.

There Is Hope For You.

There is hope for you.

The widow of Nain was good to all
A lover of good in word and deed
But sudden sorrow befell her soul
When her joy gave up the ghost.

Oh,what a crowd that followed her
To the burial of her joy and hope
A beacon to all she was indeed
Her life a blessing, none can deny.

But her sorrow didn't linger long
When she met the Son of God
Her son was raised back to life
And her mourning was turned to joy.

No matter your present state
Talk less of your previous woes
There is hope for you in life
For with God your future's bright.
